Lee County Wildlife Federation Concert Raises $250,000
Funds to Launch Florida Panther Education Initiative
FORT MYERS, Fla. (Sept. 8, 2015) – The Lee County Wildlife Federation raised $250,000 at its sold-out country music concert on Sept. 5 with headliner Florida Georgia Line at the Caloosahatchee Regional Park in Lee County. The federation will use the event proceeds to launch a Florida panther education initiative designed to decrease the number of panthers killed in collisions with cars.
